It is the study of the world around us from a social, financial and cultural perspective, gaining an understanding of economic theories and interrelationships between macro and micro economic issues. Our unique Social Sciences Pathway is specially designed to take you to University for your dream degree! This Pathway includes one mandatory A Level in Psychology, plus two additional subjects of your choice. Our ED6 Pathways are supported by academic, extracurricular and work experience opportunities to develop you and your skillset!

A Level Sociology focuses on the study of society, it is recognised by employers and universities alike as an excellent qualification showing literacy, numeracy and scientific ability. Here at ED6 you will study culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, and beliefs, alongside sociological theory and research methods.

This Level 2 Electrical course, based at The Technical Academy, will give you the essential knowledge and practical skills you need to start a career as an electrician.

This Level 3 course, based at The Technical Academy, allows you to acquire advanced knowledge and related skills in electrical installation and become a qualified electrician.
