This Pathway includes one mandatory A Level in Psychology, plus two additional subjects of your choice. A Level Sociology focuses on the study of society, it is recognised by employers and universities alike as an excellent qualification showing literacy, numeracy and scientific ability. Here at ED6 you will study culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, and beliefs, alongside sociological theory and research methods.

The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS points.
