Functional Skills English fast track courses are designed to develop practical skills that will help you in life and the workplace. We offer a range of sessions throughout the week at different locations and are committed to helping our students achieve their goals.
We offer GCSE English courses part-time, with the option to study during the day or an evening. Both options are usually three hours per week with some independent study involved too. This course is ideal for anyone without a GCSE in English, or who would like to improve their grade.
The course is a Level 1 Award in Creative Craft with the emphasis on sewing and textiles, delivered over two evenings per week for six weeks. A range of sewing and textiles areas will be introduced through short projects that build into a portfolio
