Our unique Social Sciences Pathway is specially designed to take you to University for your dream degree! This Pathway includes one mandatory A Level in Psychology, plus two additional subjects of your choice. Our ED6 Pathways are supported by academic, extracurricular and work experience opportunities to develop you and your skillset!

A Level Sociology focuses on the study of society, it is recognised by employers and universities alike as an excellent qualification showing literacy, numeracy and scientific ability. Here at ED6 you will study culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, and beliefs, alongside sociological theory and research methods.

The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS points.

Fancy a career in counselling? If so this is the perfect course for you! This course will allow current employees develop into counselling, helping and mentoring roles.

Develop more advanced counselling skills. This course is an ideal qualification for those seeking to enhance their functional role through the use of counselling skills.

This course will provide an understanding of the theory, skills and expertise required to work as a professional Counsellor as well as providing progression to higher levels of study in this subject at degree level.
